The special edition of Volkswagen Up! comes with excellent styling and refreshment touches to the range. But the question is that do these changes make the Up! Worth buying?

What the Up! is all about?

Volkswagen Up! special edition offered with massive styling and an additional kit to make it really special in the list of small city cars. It sit at the second step of the range, with its couple of great trims.

Volkswagen Up! engines

The all new Look Up! trim has been powered by a relatively smaller Volkswagen engine. It is a 1.0-litre petrol engine which is capable generating 59bhp of power. However, there are two body configurations available in the market, a three door and a five door version.

What new Body styles offered?

Although the new model has been hugely modified and it comes with 15-inch alloys but it also has an exclusively beautiful interior and upholstery design, body colours are simply awesome. It also has body coloured handles and wing mirrors. It offers great control to the driver with its excellent seating position, new driver seat has a bit higher adjustment. It has folding rear seats and manual air conditioning, and the colours such as Pure White, Tornado Red and Saturn Yellow.

How it performs with tiny engine?

Volkswagen has introduced the Up! with a tiny engine of 999cc with three-cylinder configuration that offers only 59bhp of power but it has a torque of 70lb-ft. Although, the Up! need to be worked hard in order to make fully clad progress. When you try to go on the hilly roads, it works even hard but hardly unable to overtake a vehicle ahead. At least Volkswagen has blessed the model with five speed gear box which is accurate in shifting with short throw actions.
