Mondeo is a spacious car with a generous boot area

You can have either 1.5-litre or 2.0-litre diesel engines

Eco Boost 1-litre power unit is the smallest of engines you can have in Mondeo. Obviously, it is the cheapest of the new Mondeo. There are 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre units with power variants also available so when you want power and high performance you can have it. Petrol electric hybrid model also present in this range, which offers better fuel average and low carbon emission. The body design in which this 2.0-litre petrol electric hybrid engine is available is a saloon. A panoramic sunroof is optional and for a premium touch, you can add it. You can have either 1.5-litre or 2.0-litre diesel engines so frugal diesel units are very much part of the range. All wheels drive system is available with 178bhp and 148bhp diesel engine power models. This drive configuration works intelligently and shifts traction from rear to front when it feels the loss of traction to the rear. A regular drive of the car front wheels drive configuration remains active. Six speed manual gearbox for a 148bhp powered model is quite befitting. A new version of the car has shed a considerable 25kg so that can move briskly. The Comfort level is great and the rear multi lint suspension absorbs track imperfections well. Electric steering saves energy and gives precision. The use of high strength steel keeps the car heavier but engines make it efficient. In fact, the loss of weight is 115kg but an update of safety and other features finally keeps it to as little as 25kg.
