1.2-Litre TCe petrol unit

Second version of this 1.2-Litre TCe petrol unit is of 128bhp and 151lb/ft torque. It is also good in performance and takes 11.5 seconds to reach from 0-62m/h along with top speed of 108m/h. Fuel average is 46m/g along with 136g/km of CO2 emissions.

1.5-Litre DCi unit

In diesel engines, there is a 1.5-Litre DCi unit with different mechanical combinations. Its first version is capable of 108bhp and 192lb/ft torque. It is as quick as petrol unit. It takes 12.0 seconds to reach from 0-62m/h along with top speed of 105m/h. Fuel average of this four-cylinder and eight-valve diesel engine is 70m/g along with 104g/km of Co2 emissions. It is fitted with six-speed manual and six-speed automatic gearboxes with front-wheel drive units as standard.

1.6-Litre Unit

In 1.6-Litre category, there are two engines, one is capable of 128bhp and 236lb/ft torque. It is quick in performance and takes 11.0 seconds to get from0-62m/h along with top speed of 110m/h. Fuel consumption of this diesel engine is economical one with 61m/g and Co2 emissions are 119g/km. It is fitted with six-speed manual and six-speed automatic gearboxes along with front-wheel drive shaft as standard. Second version is the fastest one in the whole range with 10.4 seconds to reach from 0-62m/h along with top speed of 120m/h. Fuel average is also good and reasonable with 60m/g with 122g/km of Co2 emissions. It is fitted with six-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive system as standard. In Grand Scenic, the Renault has used a diesel hybrid engine that performs well but the best one is 1.6-Litre DCi with automatic assembly.
