With flirting looks and comfort, this machine stands out on road

A wow factor that is needed in a family car is present in Renault Megane. The engine ranges offered in this saloon have five variations. In the petrol side, there are two engines the 1.2 TCe 130 petrol is offered throughout the range. The other one 1.6-Litre TCe 205 is however limited to the top-spec GT model. At the diesel side, there is a 1.5-Litre dCi 110 and the other one is 1.6 dCi which comes in two variations the 130 and 165 forms. The handling of the car is good and it performs well on the corners with balanced body weight and proper suspension. The engines are paired with six-speed manual gear box accept the GT model. This one gets a seven-speed EDC automatic gear box in the petrol version, while a six-speed EDC box in the diesel side.

Ride Comfort:

Refinement is the area where Renault has worked well for Megane. The specialty of the car is its low and medium speeds where it eats up bumps as if they were not on the road. At high speeds, however you get a shock throughout the cabin on a sudden bump. But overall the vehicle is ok, there is no or very low engine noise and the cabin remains quite as if you are traveling on an engineless ride. The inside of the automobile is as lavish as it looks from the outside. There are LED lights going through the doors tops and center consoles to highlight them with colors neutral white to red. The seats are made of very soft material and every thing is in reach. There is plenty of leg and head room and the comfort of driver as well as the passengers is kept at the same level. The dials for operating different Megane features are well planned and easy to handle. Of all the latest technology, that are installed in the mid and high trim levels there is only on thing which is lacking is the auto brake system. This is very important in case of a sudden collision or if the car gets in the range of collision.
