Skoda Octavia Achieves the Million Mark

Skoda has earned the fame through its elegant Octavia which has made it popular in the European markets

The all new Octavia is one of the most popular cars on the Skoda model line-up so far. Success story of the Octavia

The Octavia was first launched in 1996 after the firm was acquired by the German automaker Volkswagen and till then, the Octavia has learnt a lot and gain much from germens, as it receives new version every year which is a record for any model to get yearly modifications. The most recent modification in the Octavia line-up has received all wheel drive system added to the RS trim. The Octavia RS has been equipped with Skoda Octavia 2.0-litre engine which sips diesel and the RS 230 also uses the same configuration plus the GTi performance pack.

As mentioned earlier that the Octavia is the best seller in Skoda model line-up and last year only, Skoda has sold a total of 432,300 models across the globe. Out of these models sold, a neglect able amount was sold in China and Czech Republic but you should keep in mind that these markets are the biggest. However, overall sales volume was 11 percent extra than the sales of preceding year. The Octavia is rising and shining on the horizons of global car markets.
