It is stylish reliable and amazingly affordable car

Following the popularity of the Opel Corsa, Vauxhall adopted the name in 1993 and has been in the Vauxhall Corsa assembly line ever since. It is considered a super mini with a proper interior. The most impressive thing about this car is its efficient performance and excellent fuel economy. It has direct comparisons with the Ford Fiesta, Peugeot 208, Volkswagen Polo, Kia Rio and Hyundai i20.

The huge engine line-up is impressive

Considering all the trim levels of this small hatchback, there are a good variety of engines. Patrol is big and labour-intensive, and the saboteurs are mostly skilled performers with cheap fuel averages. The front-wheel-drive system features a Vauxhall Corsa five-speed manual gearbox. In a five-door model, the output is constant because we have a three-door model.

The automatic version of the five-speed electronic

It is a variant of the 1.3-litre CDTI Eco flex engine with a five-speed electronic automatic gear transmission system and front-wheel drive unit. This combination is smart in fuel consumption and gives a fuel average of 82m/g with CO2 emissions of 91g/km. This version takes 13.1 seconds to reach 0–62 m/h at a speed of 113 m/h.

Vauxhall Corsa Diesel Engine Range

This small car has only two diesel engines. The CDT Vauxhall Corsa 1.3-litre diesel engine is available in three body styles, three and five-door. It can deliver 73bhp and 140lb/ft of torque. The three-door model takes 14.3 seconds to accelerate from 0–62 m/h to 102 m/h. It is impressive in fuel consumption and saves an average of 74 m/g of fuel with 100g/km CO2 emissions. The second version of the 1.3-litre CDT Eco flex engine is 95bhp. It is also available in three- and five-door models. The speed from 0-62 m/h to 113 m/his 11.5 seconds. Its fuel consumption is exceptional due to the Eco Flex technology, which produces an average of 80 g/g of fuel with 94 g/km CO2 emissions. It features a five-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive system as standard.

The petrol engine range is also efficient and economical

The massive petrol engine line-up is powered by a 1.2-litre unit with 69bhp and 84lb/ft of torque. Although it is a very small unit, it is impressive in performance due to a four-cylinder stroke and takes 15.5 seconds to reach speeds from 0–62 m/h to 101 m/h. It delivers an average of 52m/g of fuel with 126g/km CO2 emissions. It features a five-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive system as standard. It has a 1.4-litre petrol engine. It has 75bhp and 96lb/ft of torque. It takes 15.0 seconds to accelerate from 0–62 m/h to 101 m/h. Fuel is good with an average of 54 m/g but we are not as impressed with the diesel engine range. Emission is 120 g/km. The second variant of the 1.4-litre petrol engine is 88bhp and 95lb/ft of torque. It takes 12.8 seconds to reach speeds from 0-62 m/h to 109 m/h. The average CO2 of the fuel is 54 m/g, with an emission of 122 g/km. This engine has a 98bhp version which can deliver 147 lb/ft of torque. It takes 10.6 seconds to achieve 0–62 m/hat a speed of 115 m/h. Fuel has an average CO2 of 55 m/g with an emission of 120 g/km. This version features a six-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive system.

The fastest version of the Corsa is the 1.4-litre 150bhp

It is the fastest petrol engine in Corsa's entire engine range. It is capable of 150bhp and 162lb/ft of torque. This engine takes 8.6 seconds to get from 62 m/h to a top speed of 130 m/h. Fuel is not bad with an average of 48 m/g and Co2 emissions are 133g/km. The entire engine range of the Vauxhall Corsa has been greatly improved and very much in performance. Diesel engines are impressive in performance and efficient in fuel consumption but petrol engines are faster in performance and better fuel-efficient. The maximum speed of this small car is 133 m/h, which is good for a small car like the Corsa.

Interior is comfortable and proper

The new Corsa is far superior to its predecessor in its interior and features. Vauxhall's improvements in this regard are noteworthy and have implications. Content is standard. We have smart features. There is also an efficient touch screen with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB port. Seats provide adequate seating position. There are many options in the form of cruise control and daytime LED lights. The steering wheel is in good condition.

Security and reliability

As far as the safety and reliability of this small car are concerned, there are mixed opinions. Corsa achieved four out of five stars in the Euro NCAP crash test and did not meet the criteria for the Driver Strength Satisfaction Survey. For adults, it is considered a safe car with 80% of the vote, and the percentage for child safety standards is reduced by two points. The compressed Corsa is equipped with six airbags, a lane departure warning system, a rear-view camera and a blind-spot warning system. The question mark is against its credibility, but the dealership offers a much lower operating fee if anything goes wrong.
