Alfa Romeo expects to beat its traditional rivals with its new Giulia Saloon 2016
It has been found that Alfa Romeo is delaying to make final announcement of its new SUV but the purpose of this delay is to capture significant market share of the SUV with its saloon range. The idea behind the delay is to come up with the best SUV that will be able to attract large pool of customers with its powerful engine and exclusive driving features. The Alfa Romeo is expected to come up with rear-wheel drive and it will raise the competition for the Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The Giulia SUV will be built to target BMW X5 and Alfa Romeo will use new platforms to make its new SUV. The complete details about the engine versions are not known yet. But according to the available details the Giulia will come up with 2.2-litre diesel engine and 2.0- litre petrol engine. The 2.2-litre diesel engine will have power variants of 150bhp, 180bhp and 210bhp. And the 2.0-litre will come with the power output of 200bhp, 250bhp and 280bhp. The 2.0-litre petrol engine will achieve the sprint of 0-62mph in merely 4.5 sec and deliver outstanding road performance. Alfa will build its 2.0-litre petrol engine by using Global Medium Engine (GME) platform. The confirmed news is that the new Giulia will have powerful twin turbo 3.0-litre V6 hot version as well. The V6 engine will have super power with the output of 500bhp straight. The 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine will attain the speed of 0-62mph within 3.9 sec. All the six cylinders will be controlled economically that will help to enhance fuel efficiency.Exclusive Features
The Giulia includes exclusive driving and latest tech features such as Active Aero Splitter, this system allow to control downforce and more cornering grip at fast speed. The double clutch torque vectoring is another exclusive feature as it deliver powers to rear wheels depending on the grip of each wheel. The integrated brake system is outstanding and stunning feature of the Italian brand. The DNA system is also remarkable addition in the new Giulia SUV, it is Dynamic, Normal and Advanced (DNA) system. The price is not known yet, but it will hit UK roads by September 2016.Categories
